Duke in the Sweet 16

After beating Alabama State and Seton Hall by 28 and 35 points, the Blue Devils have advanced to the NCAA Tourney’s Sweet 16. This represents the seventh straight time that Duke has made it to the second weekend of play. Next up, Illinois in the Atlanta Regional semifinals at the Georgia Dome. Duke had four players in each of their two tournament games scoring in double figures. Duhon is three steals away from setting the NCAA tournament record for steals held by Grant Hill with 39. Redick has finally broken out of his nine game scoring slump, picking up 6 three pointers in two games. Likewise, Deng and Randolph are stepping up and playing consistently when Duke needs it the most.
