Twice as Nice!

In another great game of this storied rivalry, my beloved Blue Devils were once again victorious as the Devils beat the Tar Heels 70-65. Neither team took more than a six point lead. Freshman Luol Deng scored 25 points, going 12 of 16 from the field, just three nights after struggling in a loss to Georgia Tech. The Heel's Rashad McCants put up 18 points and more importantly a little fuel on the rivalry fire by stating that "Redick wasn't too much of a threat." Incidentally, Redick had 15 on the night with only 1 trey. The voices in my head tell me that McCants has incredible heart and a huge mouth. Perhaps in the next week he can find a way to either put up or shut up. In his senior night game, Chris Duhon scored 12 and played a devil of a game. Looks like Duke is going to take a nice lead in the Carlyle Cup.
